WELL HELLO

Meet your Trainer

Amy Kean

is a creative sociologist and bestselling author who wants to make learning lovely.

Her first book, The Little Girl Who Gave Zero Fucks was described by Glamour Magazine as a feminist handbook.

After 17 years working in advertising all over the world, in innovation and strategy roles, Amy moved into teaching and writing full time. She’s a journalist, university lecturer, poet, satirist and working class weirdo, as well as a LinkedIn Top Voice, Campaign Magazine Trailblazer, and inductee into the BIMA Hall of Fame for her tireless DEI work. She loves accents, and is committed to getting everybody speaking well at work, but in their real voice.

Her punchy column in Shots magazine is consistently their most popular content. An avid learner, most recently Amy has added parapsychology and the psychology of emotions to her academic portfolio. Her 2023 sold-out London play, Group, was about the dark side of life coaching.

“Thank YOU Amy for inspiring, entertaining and stimulating the brains of everyone at UM London. Your openness, honesty, clarity of message and personal authenticity was everything we needed to open our agency day with a bang. You brought a new and special articulation of what we always aim to foster as our inclusive & open culture,We LOVE the weirdness in us all. Everyone watching - hire this woman to speak. You won't regret it.”

Susan Kingston-Brown, President, UM EMEA
