Workshops: attendees choose 1 or 2

12:15pm to 1pm. Workshop 1: WHAT’S YOUR BAT SIGNAL?  Lucy Barbor

How do people know when to call for you? What are specific phrases you and everyone else should listen out for, to send clients your way? And how can you represent them in your posts and profile? Lucy Barbor, founder and award winning strategist, has used LinkedIn as her own social platform to drive substantial revenue in year 1 of her business. This interactive workshop will help you:

  • Identify and articulate your real value

  • Show up with your specific skillset

  • Help your network direct the right work to you

  • Help the right clients to find you

12.30pm to 1:15pm. Workshop 2: HUMANS VS CLICKS. Amanda Baker

It's no wonder so many people struggle to show up ‘authentically’ on LinkedIn. We’re all trying to show the algorithm we're worthy. Consuming content created by disembodied voices. While most are obsessing over petty metrics instead of meaning, this is your call to do the complete opposite. This workshop will show you how to reconnect with yourself and your humanity online through your personal stories, and apply that to how you show up on LinkedIn. What you’ll walk away with:

  • A 5-part method for personal storytelling

  • Prompts to help you unpack and understand who you are in deeper ways

  • Examples of what ‘real’ looks, sounds and feels like on LinkedIn

  • A redefinition of what ‘success’ on the platform means based on how it feels to you, not how it looks to others

1.15pm to 1.45pm. Talk: SHOW ME THE MONEY. Yinka Ewuola

A ‘Chin Up Boobs out' guide to using LinkedIn for building a business and making money without feeling like a muppet or acting like one. Yinka will show you how to prioritise your business and revenue on LinkedIn, with some simple steps to make you more focused on using the platform for commercial gain, rather than validation.

1.45pm to 2.15pm. Lunch and games

Workshops: attendees choose 3 or 4

2.15pm to 3pm. Workshop 3: FINDING YOUR PERSONAL BRAND VOICE IN AN AGE OF AI, Christina Minshull

In a world of AI-generated noise and copy-paste content, sounding like yourself is the only real differentiator left, and ironically, the hardest to pull off. We’ll break down how to build a credible personal brand in a world obsessed with speed, sameness, and shortcuts. You'll learn:

  • How to cut through algorithm fatigue and synthetic sameness

  • The neuroscience of credibility - and how to write for trust

  • A framework to develop a personal brand voice that’s distinct and defensible

2.30pm to 3.15pm. Workshop 4: FROM BASIC TO BOLD: Turning LinkedIn into a Sales Funnel, and Content into Clients, Amy Weidner

This workshop is for those who know they have something meaningful to offer but the bro sales culture gives them the ick. As the saying goes: “make the garden beautiful, and the clients will come to you!” That’s why finding ways to create high value content, a clear customer journey and systems to support this consistently are critical for anyone building a business from their personal brand. What we’ll cover:

  • Identifying blockers and coming up with a proper plan to post with pride

  • Write content that speaks to your audience’s pain points and makes you high value.

  • Non broey/salesy ways to build your community and get new clients.

  • Walk away with a BOLD LinkedIn profile that attracts your ideal clients while you sleep, and systems that make being visible and posting content feel great.

3.30pm to 4pm. Talk: LINKEDIN FOR GOOD, Lee Chambers

We all have a voice, and that voice can be for more than just self-promotion. Lee has amassed 66,000 followers on LinkedIn by promoting allyship and pushing for change. This talk will focus on how we can all use our voices for good, and bring people along in the journey.

4pm to 4.30pm. Talk: EMBRACING DEPTH AND CREATING COMMUNITY, Samantha Harman

Samantha is a former editor and style strategist, and one of the most consistent people on LinkedIn. In this talk, she’ll show you how to inspire your network and bring them on a journey with you, using your profile and content to create a sense of unmissable community, around any subject or niche.

Workshops attendees choose 5 or 6

4.30pm to 5.15pm. Workshop 5: DEMYSTIFYING DMS, Wayne Marlton

DMs can be the trickiest element of LinkedIn, because no one has any idea what anybody else is doing! Fact is, if you want to use your DMs to drive business, you probably need to up your game. In this workshop, Wayne will show you his method for doing it in a way that feels right for you. He’ll help you:

  • Find the right people to start conversations with

  • Research in the right way to make a meaningful approach

  • DM based on your personality type, so that it feels real to your voice

  • Convert and develop a long-term plan

4.30pm to 5.15pm. Workshop 6: WRANGLING THE ALGORITHM, Jane Evans

Jane has been on an experimental mission to understand the significant changes to LinkedIn’s algorithm. While this year has seen delayed views and lowered engagement, especially when it comes to sensitive topics or global news, there are ways to navigate this successfully. This session will feature:

  • Results from experimentation to teach us more what LinkedIn likes right now

  • Golden rules to get the algorithm on your side

  • A discussion about how to navigate ongoing changes and updates, whilst maintaining a sense of community

5.15pm to 5.45pm Talk: SHAPING YOUR CAREER ON LINKEDIN, Lauren Spearman

Lauren has inspired tens of thousands of fans just by being herself, using LinkedIn with uplifting honesty and curiosity. In this session, she shares how LinkedIn has been a launchpad for a career pivot; from marketing leader to trusted voice in the careers space, and how you can use it to shape your own path. She’ll share her lessons on posting when you’re not ‘qualified’, why being clear beats being clever, how to climb cringe mountain and the power of visibility on the platform.

5.45pm: CLOSE, and the results of the live challenge! Nicky Kemp

What’s the vibe?

It’s a conference meets day festival meets summer fair. As well as learning opportunities there’ll be cute little activites and maybe... just maybe... LinkedIn tattoos.
